I can help! I offer the following services:
I will walk with you around your property, help you learn about what you have, listen to your needs, desires, and questions, brainstorm ways to enhance your space (especially with native perennials, shrubs, and trees), and/or offer suggestions for things you could do right away. This single, one-hour session might be all the help and encouragement you need, or it might be the beginning of a season of coaching and/or a new planting design process. *Please note that I don't provide consultation for vegetable gardening.
Coaching
Journeying with you
Think of this as having a personal trainer for your green thumb. After your initial consultation, I’ll meet with you periodically on your property to help you evaluate your progress, answer questions (or find answers), offer suggestions, and teach you about design, tools, methods, seasonal management, etc. I can also accompany you to local garden centers to serve as a guide, or work alongside you in your garden in a teaching role. *Please note that I do not currently provide coaching or consultation for vegetable gardening.
Planting Plans
Helping you plan your space
If you’d like to create a new landscaped area, or rework an existing one, but don’t know where to begin, I will work with you to create a unique planting design tailored to your location and personal preferences. My designs lean heavily on native perennials, shrubs, and trees. A detailed guide to the plants will be provided. Using my design as your guide, you will prepare the ground, purchase the plants, install, and maintain the garden yourself. A coaching package can be incorporated to help you with each of those steps so that you can become confident in your garden.
Soul Care
Helping you tend your heart
I believe garden care and soul care can go hand-in-hand. I offer spiritual direction to those who desire to deepen their relationship with God, self, and others. If you're both a gardener and a follower of Christ, I can meet with you for a combination of garden coaching and spiritual direction, or just for spiritual direction. Available in-person or online and not limited to South Dakota.
Invoices will include additional local and state sales tax. I am available within a 30-mile radius of Sioux Falls.
